Buy Print-At-Home Tickets or Pick Up Your Pac-12 Championship Tickets Early to Avoid Lines on Friday
By Rich Muschell November 22, 2012, 3:54 amStanford Football Fans,
Just like you, all of us in the Stanford Athletics ticket office are really excited that the football team took care of business against UCLA on Saturday and earned the right to host the Pac-12 Football Championship Game at Stanford Stadium on Friday, November 30 at 5:00 P.M. PT.
As you can imagine, selling 50,000 tickets to this game in a very short period of time comes with a number of logistical challenges. One such challenge is the fact that we cannot ship tickets out to customers who purchase in the days leading up to the game. As a result, we are encouraging all fans that purchase tickets to select print-at-home delivery.
However, many fans prefer to pick up their tickets at will call. We are projecting that thousands of will call orders will need to be picked up before the game on Friday, which could cause long lines and be very inconvenient for fans.
Rather than waiting until Friday, we encourage you to come to the Stanford Stadium ticket office earlier this week between 9am and 6pm to pick up your tickets in advance. The ticket office is open later than usual to facilitate will call pickups.
We hope to reduce the number of fans who must wait in line on game day to pick up their tickets so Friday’s historic event can be more enjoyable for everyone.
Thanks for your support of Stanford Football.
Best regards,
Rich Muschell
